Adenoid cystic carcinoma is rarely encountered among breast cancer patients as a histologic subtype. For this reason, clinicians have less experience on this subtype and confront diffi culties in treatment planning. In this study, patients with adenoid cystic carcinoma were reviewed to understand their clinical course. Four patients with a mean age of 53 (47-68) were treated with modifi ed radical mastectomy. Patients had triple negative breast cancer with a mean tumor size of 5 cm (2.5-8 cm). Two patients received chemotherapy whereas one patient also had radiotherapy. All patients were followed for a mean duration of 35 months (29-48 months) without any evidence of local recurrence and distant metastases.
